    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Infusion to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality infusion therapy to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the treatment process. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

    Duties

    • Administer intravenous medications and fluids according to established protocols and physician orders.

    • Monitor patients during infusion therapy for any adverse reactions or complications, providing immediate intervention as necessary.

    • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

    • Educate patients and their families about infusion procedures, potential side effects, and aftercare instructions.

    • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans that meet the needs of each patient.

    • Ensure adherence to aseptic technique during all procedures to prevent infection.

    • Participate in health coaching initiatives to promote overall wellness among patients.

    Skills

We are expanding our team and seeking compassionate, dependable professionals to support both our clinical infusion services and community-based mentoring work—especially focused on serving African-American girls and women.

    Position Overview

    This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of an Infusion Nurse (RN) and a Traveling Community Support Worker/Mentor. You’ll be responsible for administering IV treatments in an outpatient setting and/or supporting clients in the community by offering mentorship, life skills development, and health coaching.

    Infusion Nurse Responsibilities

    • Administer IV medications and fluids per protocol and physician orders

    • Monitor patients for reactions during therapy

    • Educate patients on treatment and aftercare

    • Maintain accurate documentation (TherapyNotes experience a plus)

    • Promote overall wellness through patient-centered care

    • Travel to client locations when needed for in-home care

    Qualifications (RN Role):

    • Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland

    • Minimum 1 year of IV experience preferred

    • Proficiency in aseptic technique and patient education

    Community Support Worker/Mentor Responsibilities

    • Travel to client homes (ages 5 and up, primarily girls/women) for sessions

    • Support clients in areas such as self-image, anger management, and communication

    • Transport clients to appointments, errands, or community activities as needed

    • Conduct a minimum of:

    • 3 sessions/month for minors (at least 2 must be completed to qualify for payment)

    • 6 sessions/month for adults (at least 4 must be completed to qualify for payment)

    • Submit notes within 24 hours of sessions

    • Participate in case conferences and use skill-building methods (roleplay, modeling, etc.)

    Requirements (Community Role):

    • Comfort and passion for working with African-American girls and women

    • Able to pass fingerprinting within 1 week of hire

    • Available Mon–Fri (4pm–8pm) and Saturdays (11am–6pm)

    • Reliable transportation to serve Montgomery, PG, Howard, Baltimore County/City, Frederick, and Hagerstown

    Compensation & Schedule

    • $50 per hour

    Community Support Worker Role:

    • Will be required to apply for your state’s Medicaid provider credentialing as well as private insurance provider credentialing (United Health Care, Blue Cross/ Blue Shield, Cigna, Etc). We have an in-house credentialing expert to assist with all insurance credentialing.

    • Will be required to complete a paid ($200) 10 hour training. 8-hour self pace online as well as 2 one-hour virtual training courses within 1 week of on-boarding.

    • Fully paid Gottman Level 1 Theory for Couples Therapy Course, reimbursable 3 months after working with LWG.
